Modern Group of Colleges, Pandori Bhagat, recently organized a two-day orientation program to welcome new students and provide orientation for the upcoming academic year. Organized on 15th and 16th July 2024, the event started with the indulgence of Shri Sukhimani Sahib and planting of saplings, the main purpose of the orientation program of the college was to familiarize the new students with the college life This program introduced the academic, cultural and social aspects of the college to the students. The orientation program informs the students about the rules, policies and facilities of the college.
The purpose of the orientation program was to acquaint the students with the principles of the college, academic regulations, and the various resources available to them. The event started with a warm welcome to the students by the College Principal Dr. Jatinder Kumar, who emphasized the importance of holistic education and personal development.
During this, interactive sessions were performed with the faculty members who introduced their respective departments and outlined the curriculum. Students also participated in ice breaking and other activities. Workshops on effective study promotion, time management and mental well-being were conducted, which provided valuable information to new entrants.
Apart from the spiritual ceremony, the second day saw presentations by Managing Director Dr Arshdeep Singh and teachers, who shared their experiences and offered guidance on college life and future career paths.
The college administration thanked all the participants and organizers for making the event memorable.
