Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, August 2:- District SAS Nagar Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Sandeep Kumar Garg IPS while giving information to the press said that during the campaign launched by District Police Mohali against bad elements, under the supervision of Dr. Jyoti Yadav, IPS Police Captain (Investigation), SAS Nagar and Sardar Harsimrat Singh PPS Deputy Captain (Investigation), District SAS Nagar, Inspector Harminder Singh Incharge CIA Staff Mohali Camp and Kharar Team exposed the target killing module. 02 accused have been arrested and 90 rounds of coins have been seized from them. Giving information, Dr. Garg said that on 28.07.2024, the police of CIA staff was present near Bansavali Chungi, Kharar, where the CIA police party received information that Mohit Kumar son of Pawan Kumar resident of Sultanpur Lodhi, district Kapurthala, who has rented a room in LIC Colony, SAS Nagar of Mundi Kharar district, in which many other companions also keep coming. Earlier also, cases of assault and many other types of cases have been registered against Mohit Kumar and his companions. And they also have illegal weapons. With which Mohit Kumar has collected a large amount of illegal ammunition. Who can carry out any incident with illegal weapons and heavy ammunition at any time. On which, case number 268 dated 28-07-2024 was registered against the accused Mohit Kumar under 25 Arms Act in City Police Station and investigation was done. Initial investigation of the case revealed that accused Mohit Kumar had taken these 90 round coins from Maninder Singh, resident of village Ali Chak, district Jalandhar from a deserted place on Sirhind Road from Landran and kept them with him. Which he had to forward on the instructions of Maninder Singh. After the arrest of accused Mohit Kumar, Maninder Singh son Kulwinder Singh resident of village Alichak district Jalandhar has also been arrested from his village Ali Chak on 01-08-2024. Accused Maninder Singh has 09 cases registered against him under Armed Conflict and Arms Act in District Jalandhar and Kapurthala. During interrogation of accused Maninder Singh, it was revealed that these round coins were sent to him by Harjeet Bhandal, resident of village Chitti, district Jalandhar.

Against whom cases of Arms Act and extortion are registered in District Kapurthala, who is currently living in England. Harjeet Bhandal is the partner of Gopi resident Nawanshahr Gopi who is wanted in Ratandeep Singh murder case and is currently living in America. During interrogation of accused Maninder Singh, it was also revealed that Harjeet Bhandal had also sent him illegal weapons. After this, he had to carry out the murder on the given target along with his accomplices Harjeet Bhandal and Gopi resident of Nawanshahr. The accused are on police remand.
