AkzoNobel's initiative Project Transformation completes five years; It is benefiting more than 2000 children every year in Punjab

Mohali, 30 July 2024:- ExoNoble, maker of leading paint and coating company Dulux Paints, celebrated five years of its flagship education initiative-Project Transformation in Mohali district of Punjab. Under this, an effort was made to bring happiness to about 800 children and teachers in the two government high schools in Molly Baidwan and Saneta of the district.

Mohali, 30 July 2024:- ExoNoble, maker of leading paint and coating company Dulux Paints, celebrated five years of its flagship education initiative-Project Transformation in Mohali district of Punjab. Under this, an effort was made to bring happiness to about 800 children and teachers in the two government high schools in Molly Baidwan and Saneta of the district.
During the summer vacation, around 700 liters of Dulux paint from 10 employees of the ExxonOble Mohali plant and skilled Dulux painters created inspirational murals on eight walls of these schools.

Designed to show the limitless potential of children, these murals now inspire them every day as the company believes they come to school everyday to paint their future.
Talking about the reaction of the children and staff, Shubhwant Kaur, School Head of Suneta Government High School said, “When the children returned to school after the summer vacation, they were overwhelmed with joy after seeing so many colorful and inspiring images. It's great to see that these vibrant colors now greet us every day.”
Samvij Kumar, school head of Mauli Baidwan Government High School said, “The impact of this change goes beyond the school walls. This renovation has completely changed the outlook from the school to the local community.”
Launched in 2019 in Mauhali district of Punjab in partnership with the Department of School Education (Government of Punjab), ExoNoble's Project Variant is benefiting nearly 2000 children every year. Five government high school students in Phase 6 and Mataur Mauli Baidwan Suneta Balangi villages of Mohali district have benefited from this.
With a holistic perspective, Project Parivan also provides students with enhanced knowledge and skill training on topics like mental welfare, child sexual abuse awareness and career counselling. Apart from this, ExoNoble India has contributed to the improvement of basic facilities in the schools like science laboratory improvement and also donated 2000 liters of Dulux paint for the renovation of the schools.
The children and their families are also connected with Arogya Sakha Tele-Medicine Community Healthcare Initiative of ExoNoble where they can avail free consultation from expert doctors. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the company provided digital tablets with educational content to the students so that the children could continue their studies without any interruption.
