EKYC and land seeding essential to benefit from PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana: Chief Agriculture Officer

Patiala, July 29 - Chief Agriculture Officer, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Patiala, Dr. Jaswinder Singh appealed to farmers to update EKYC and their land records to get the 18th installment of PMKisan Nidhi. Patiala, July 29 - Chief Agriculture Officer, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Patiala, Dr. Jaswinder Singh appealed to farmers to update EKYC and their land records to get the 18th installment of PMKisan Nidhi. So that maximum number of farmers in district Patiala can get the benefit of this scheme. According to the Chief Agriculture Officer, the farmers should go to the respective block and contact the Agriculture Department, Common Service Center to get their land seeding done and get EKYC done. According to the Chief Agriculture Officer, according to the applications received in Patiala district, EKYC has not been conducted by some farmers Due to which they are not getting the benefit of this scheme. According to the Chief Agriculture Officer, Dr Jaspinder Kaur of Block Patiala (95017-39428), Dr Vimalpreet Singh of Block Bhunarheri (98159-82309), Dr Satish Kumar of Block Samana (97589-00047), Dr Neetu Rani of Block Rajpura ( 87289-56448), Dr. Rashpinder Singh (98789-86603) of Block Nabha and Dr. Jupinder Singh Pannu (73070-59201) of Block Ghanour. They told the farmers that the work of EKYC should be completed within 1 week So that further action can be taken to settle the pending cases as per the guidelines received from the Punjab Government.
