Sanskrit poets have given more emphasis on environmental protection where in poet Kalidas's book Abhijnan Shakuntalam, Shakuntala does not drink water herself before watering the trees, she does not pluck fruits, flowers and leaves of the year. On this occasion, describing the importance of trees, the Head of the Department, Prof. V.K. Alankar said that we should plant as many trees as possible because trees purify the environment and produce oxygen in the environment. Felling of trees is one of the main causes of global warming, we should limit it and provide protection to trees in maximum quantity. "The ancient gods and goddesses of India have been associated with some animal or plant." He said that due to this reason, common people saw divinity in all of them and kept protecting them. On this occasion, the teachers of the department, Dr. Sunita Ji, Dr. Tomir Ji, Dr. Vikram Ji and Dr. Bhardwaj Ji and all the students were present.
