Patiala, July 24 – The Human Resource Development (HRD) Wing of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) today launched a sapling drive at AE Hostel of Technical Training Institute (TTI) at Patiala. As part of PSPCL's ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, 255 saplings were planted in this initiative. These included shade, flowering, fruiting and ornamental species. Eng RS Saini, Director Human Resource (HR), led the drive along with Eng Inderjit Singh, Chief Engineer/HRD, along with other officers and staff members. The event was part of initiatives for greening by PSPCL CMD Eng Baldev Singh Saran.
On the occasion, Eng RS Saini said, "This campaign is proof of PSPCL's commitment towards environmental conservation. We are not just lighting up houses, we are following nature." Eng Saini also appreciated the workers involved in the campaign and distributed sweets in recognition of their dedication and hard work.
