Under the aegis of Una District Cooperative Development Federation (UNCOFED), a training camp for the ordinary members (shareholders) of the cooperative society of Bagana development block was organized in Raepur Madan. Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies Una Rakesh Kumar, General Manager of Integrated Cooperative Development Project Vikramjeet, Block Inspector Cooperative Societies Ashwani Kumar and President of Cooperative Societies Employees Union Bagana Vipan Kumar were specially present in the camp.
Jagmohan from Uncofed, while welcoming the officials of the Co-operative Department, the Managing Committee and ordinary members of the Sabha who had come to this camp, informed them about the objectives of the camp and urged the ordinary members of the Sabha to contribute to the progress of the Sabha by keeping themselves aware of the working system and rights and duties of the Sabha through the camp.
The chief guest and speaker of the training camp, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies Rakesh Kumar, told the members present in the camp that in order to be well aware of the functioning of the Sabha along with their participation in the Sabha, when the Sabha gives a loan, they should understand the conditions written in the pronote carefully and then sign it so that the situation does not arise that the lender says that he is not aware of a particular condition. Similarly, before depositing your deposit, read the conditions of the rate of interest payable. The Managing Committee of the Sabha should sign the proposals written by the Secretary in the proceedings register only after understanding them properly. Because the committee is not exempted from any kind of responsibility of the Sabha. It is the responsibility of the members to share the information of the annual audit of the Sabha among themselves so that it can be discussed in the general meeting.
Vikramjeet, General Manager of Integrated Cooperative Development Project, informed about the assistance provided to the Sabha by the cooperative project in the camp. He informed about the availability of financial assistance for building construction, furniture, business expansion etc. of the Sabha.
Secretary of Uncofed Ankit Bali, Block Inspector of Cooperative Societies, Ashwani Kumar expressed gratitude to the President and Secretary of the Sabha for making arrangements for the camp and to the Managing Committee and members of the present Sabha for participating in the camp.
