Nawanshahr:- A special meeting of "Blood Donation Committee" branch of BDC dedicated to day and night blood donation services was held in the presence of SK Sarin, JS Gidda, Parvesh Kumar, PR Kalia, Dr. Ajay Baga. Which was chaired by SK Sareen. Secretary JS Gidda informed that from January 1st to July 7th this year, 1675 blood units were obtained through the organization of 40 blood donation camps and released to the needy.

In which protection can be achieved by wearing clothes that cover the entire body, using anti-mosquito creams, keeping meshed doors, not allowing water to accumulate in pots and coolers in the houses, spraying mosquito repellents, etc. The youth members of the "Blood Donation Expansion Committee" discussed ideas regarding the expansion of the blood donation service. The meeting urged the administration to initiate necessary rescue and awareness measures in view of the possible danger of dengue. The industrialists across the country should educate the workers working in their industries.
