Nawanshahr - Under the environment protection campaign and Haryawal Punjab activity of SKT Plantation team, youth planted trees in Gohalron village. Shri Guru Ravidas Club had special support in this plantation. Team moderator Ankush Nizawan said that trees and plants are essential to keep the environment clean. They give us oxygen for life, fruits to eat and shade to escape the heat.
Everyone needs to take the decision to plant more and more trees to make the earth greener and save life. He said that just like Sunil and Robin from Sri Guru Ravidas Club have come forward and planted saplings in the village ground for environmental protection. Similarly youth from other villages and youth clubs should also come forward and plant saplings in their villages and take care of them. Manoj Kanda, district convenor of Haryawal Punjab, who was specially involved on this occasion, said that to save the environment, one should plant trees in life. Plants are the only source of life-giving oxygen. If there are no plants, we may have oxygen shortage.
Many people have suffered the consequences of lack of oxygen during the Corona period. So we all should resolve to plant as many saplings as possible. Sunil Bali said that in today's plantation drive, 11 saplings of neem, deck, amla, banyan and peepal were planted. They said that in the coming days, plantations will be done on a large scale in the village with the support of SKT plantation team and Haryawal Punjab.
