Toronto, July 6 - Raninderjit Singh, a young man from the royal city of Patiala in Canada, has brightened the name of his parents and Punjab by getting the position of 'Toronto Police Parking Enforcement Officer'. Raninderjit Singh came to Canada in 2019.
Toronto, July 6 - Raninderjit Singh, a young man from the royal city of Patiala in Canada, has brightened the name of his parents and Punjab by getting the position of 'Toronto Police Parking Enforcement Officer'. Raninderjit Singh came to Canada in 2019. His father Inderjit Singh Bablu (reporter and cameraman of Patiala's famous City Cable Opera) and mother Kulwinder Kaur are also in Canada since 2023. Sharing their joy, both of them said that after six weeks of training for this position, now that their beloved son Raninderjit Singh is going to take over the duty, they are very happy. Raninderjit Singh said that during the training program, he scored 149 out of 150 marks in the academic paper, which earned him the award from the Deputy Chief of Toronto Police, Lauren Paugh. He proudly said that for the first time a person of Punjabi origin has received this award. Apart from his parents, Raninderjit Singh said his friend Hardeep Singh Bains, who himself is working in the same position, was his source of inspiration for this achievement. It may be mentioned that he was the youngest in the group of 25 persons during the training program.
