Mandi Gobindgarh, July 6 - The new Mahatma Buddha Meditation Center was inaugurated today at Desh Bhagat University. During the formal inauguration of this center, Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Prof. Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhijit Joshi and Chancellor's Advisor Dr. Varinder Singh gave a message of positivity and peace. He said that the aim of the center is to improve the mental and spiritual health and academic success of the university family. Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh said, "The Dhyan Center is a symbol of our commitment to the overall well-being and success of students.
Our mission is to empower the community with peace of mind practices while promoting a culture of peace of mind, clarity and compassion."
Pro-Chancellor Dr Tajinder Kaur said the Meditation Center provides sessions, workshops and resources for stress management, self-care and personal development. On this occasion, Dr. Devinder Kumar, Director of Department of Social Sciences and Languages, Dr. Pyare Lal, Director Library Science, Dr. Ajaipal Singh, Dr. Dharminder Singh, Dr. Renu Sharma, Dr. Jyoti Sharma and Dr. Arvinder Kaur and other employees were present.
