On this occasion, health worker Rajeev Romi told the people that dengue fever is caused by the bite of a female mosquito called Aedes aegypti. This mosquito breeds in clean stagnant water like water from coolers, tanks. Therefore, the water in the coolers must be changed once a week. The lid of the rooftop water tank should be tightly closed. Pots, drums, tires etc. which may collect rain water should not be kept outside in open space or on the roof. Water in coolers, pots and back trays of refrigerators etc. should be dried by observing Friday as dry day one day in a week. By wearing such clothes, the body is completely covered so that mosquitoes cannot bite.
Mosquito nets, mosquito repellent creams and oils should be used while sleeping. Pits around the houses should be filled with earth so that rainwater does not collect in them. If there is any problem like bleeding from the nose, one should immediately go to the nearest government health institution and contact it. At this time, health worker Rajeev Romi, Asha worker Subhash Rani, Santosh Kumari, Sheela Devi, Meena Rani and villagers were present.
