Speaking at this Lok Arpan ceremony, S Ashok Bhaura said that Baljinder Mann has been playing an active role in the field of children's literature for the last three to four decades. He has made great strides in the fields of creation, editing, publishing and translation. The palm book ``Khedon Minku Te Chintu Ki'' is a lively version of his children's cartoons. He further said that writers who fill in their scholarly works do not get readers but those who speak in the language of the people simply and clearly have many readers. Therefore, every writer should create literature in the vernacular; He also presented some stories that have made a home in people's hearts. Throwing light on his life journey, he said that he has visited 45 countries of the world and has written dozens of books about their literary culture and Tantra.
Welcoming him on this occasion, actor director Ally Ashok Puri said that Ashok Bhaura has done and is doing great work in the promotion and dissemination of Punjabi culture and mother tongue at the global level. Speaking about Baljinder Mann's literary creation, District Language Officer Dr. Jaswant Roy said that he is a lone warrior connecting children with his rich heritage through children's literature and children's magazines. The motive of his creation is to equip the new generation with feminine values. Dr. Jaswinder Singh Ubrai, who was present as a special guest on this occasion, said that magazines and children's books like small crumbs should reach every home, only by doing this we can connect our children with the mother tongue. Bagga Singh Artist and President of Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Jasbir Dhiman praised the pictures included in the book and said that Sukhman Singh's pictures touch children's minds. He has achieved a great position in this field with his hard work and dedication. Children's literature writers Anju V.
