Patiala, June 28 - To celebrate the birth anniversary of RD Burman, the famous music director of Hindi film music, the Royal Patiala Cultural and Welfare Society organized a special musical program under the leadership of Barinder Singh Khural, Dr. Brajesh Modi, Bimal Kumar Gaba and Lakhbir Singh (Khanna) in which 28 singers left their mark by singing solo and duet songs. Mr. Karnail Singh DSP Patiala attended as the chief guest. On this occasion, he praised the program and said that these songs of the golden era of Hindi film music are going to go deep and the impact of these songs will remain on the whole world. Expressing his fascination for music, he also sang the Sthayi Antara of the popular song 'Chaudhvin Ka Chand Ho Ya Aftab Ho...' sung by the great singer Mohammad Rafi Sahab. He was also given a special honor by the society.
