In a joint effort to raise awareness about organ donation and address the organ shortage, ROTTO (North) and Sukh Foundation held an organ donation awareness stall and a blood donation camp at The Oberoi Sukh Villas. This initiative aimed to educate participants about the significance of organ donation while encouraging blood donations.
The event saw a great turnout of voluntary blood donors who also received counseling on organ donation. Their enthusiastic response showed a strong willingness to spread the message within their communities.
Prof. Vipin Koushal, Medical Superintendent & Head Dept of Hospital Administration cum Nodal Officer, ROTTO (North), commended the initiative, emphasizing its importance in building a compassionate community. Mr. Amit Dewan, President of Sukh Foundation, highlighted the summer blood shortage as a key reason for the timing of the event. Mr. Gaurav Issar, General Manager of The Oberoi Sukh Villas, noted the dual impact of meeting immediate blood donation needs and promoting organ donation awareness.
