Saroa-Pojewal police station chief SI Sukhwinderpal Singh said that Baljit Singh alias Honey son of Balveer Singh resident of Ghagon Raudanwali police station Garhshankar (Hoshiarpur) confessed during interrogation that on 6 April 2022 I (Baljit Singh alias Honey) and Jitinder Singh alias Jodha son of Mahinderpal resident of Ghagon Raudanwali entered the house of Bambal Singh son of Hukum Singh police station Pojewal in village Atal Mazara and questioned Kulwant Singh alias Gopa son of Joga. When he was not present in his house we came out of his house and in the street Jatinder Singh alias Jodha son of Mahinderpal resident of Ghagon Raudanwali fired two rounds from his country-made pistol. Police took the accused Baljit Singh to Saroa Civil Hospital for medical and he was arrested in the firing case.
