Una, June 21- Yoga and fitness are very important for a positive life. Yoga should be made a part of one's daily routine for spiritual, mental and physical stability. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said these words while presiding over the district level yoga practice program organized by the AYUSH Department in Una on the occasion of the 10th International Yoga Day.

Una, June 21- Yoga and fitness are very important for a positive life. Yoga should be made a part of one's daily routine for spiritual, mental and physical stability. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said these words while presiding over the district level yoga practice program organized by the AYUSH Department in Una on the occasion of the 10th International Yoga Day. The AYUSH Department organized this program in collaboration with SBI, Nehru Yuva Kendra, KCC Bank and Red Cross.
Jatin Lal said that our daily eating habits and disorganized lifestyle have a negative effect on the body and due to this the body slowly starts leaving us. Many diseases surround a person. At the same time, the youth fall into the clutches of drugs. Yoga and fitness are very important to avoid such situations. Yoga and exercise bring a positive change in life. With these, you see good changes in the body, by getting inspiration from which the person feels encouraged.
He said that the body is the most sacred temple. Making it look good is the biggest task. It is necessary that we all make yoga and exercise a part of our daily routine and practice it daily.
The Deputy Commissioner said that Yoga is India's invaluable gift to the world, with which every person can make his life meaningful. Yoga practice not only maintains physical health but also spiritual, mental and ideological health. He said that understanding its utility and necessity, the United Nations declared June 21 as International Yoga Day on India's request.
District Ayush Officer Kiran Sharma and Dr. Jagjit Kaur conducted yoga practice in the program. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal along with Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh, State Congress spokesperson Vijay Dogra, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Uttam Doud, Red Cross Secretary Sanjay Sankhyan, Nehru Yuva Kendra District Youth Officer Pradeep Kumar, SBI Regional Manager Sanju Banga along with other officials and people from different sections of the society participated in the group yoga practice.
