34 sevadars donated blood in "Gurdwara Ghagon Guru Ki".

Saroa - In view of the increasing demand for blood in the summer season, the management committee of Gurdwara "Ghago Guru Ki" organized a voluntary blood donation camp under the leadership of Jathedar Joga Singh Sarpanch Haveli, Pradeep Kumar and Suresh Vij and with the cooperation of technical staff of BDC Nawanshahr.

Saroa - In view of the increasing demand for blood in the summer season, the management committee of Gurdwara "Ghago Guru Ki" organized a voluntary blood donation camp under the leadership of Jathedar Joga Singh Sarpanch Haveli, Pradeep Kumar and Suresh Vij and with the cooperation of technical staff of BDC Nawanshahr. The camp was inaugurated by Baba Satnam Singh Karseva Noura with his lotus hands and blessed the blood donors. On this occasion, Madam Anuradha donated blood along with her husband Jitinder Pal and 34 other blood donors.
It is worth noting that this week is dedicated to the birth anniversary of "Lord Landsteiner", the discoverer of blood group in the world and a series of blood donation camps are being organized globally. The Ministry of Health has invited to celebrate this day by celebrating "Twenty years of blood donation - Thank you blood donors" this year. On this occasion, Dr. Dayal Saroop shared the information and said that the population of India has reached one billion forty crores. But sadly, voluntary blood donors are not even one percent. Due to which there is a big gap between demand and supply.
According to a survey, regular blood donors reduce the risk of heart attack and cancer by 80 percent. During the camp, blood donors were felicitated by the organizing Gurudwara Committee. The technical team of BDC Blood Center Nawanshahr was led by Dr. Dayal Saroop in which Malkiat Singh Saroa, Rajiv Bhardwaj, Bhupinder Singh Langroa, Madam Priyanka and the congregation were present. In the end, the blood donation camp was concluded with the slogan "Blood Donor Angels - Thank You".
