Patiala, June 15 - A fire broke out in a gym in Urban Estate Phase 2 this morning due to a short circuit. The incident took place when several persons were exercising but all got out safely when the fire broke out.
The entire building was filled with smoke, after which the fire was brought under control with great difficulty. There was an atmosphere of panic among the young men and women who were exercising at the time of the incident, but there was no loss of life. If the fire was not brought under control soon, there could have been a huge loss as there are other buildings along with this gym, where there are various kinds of showrooms apart from food and drink. The fire could also take them in its clutches.
