Apart from this, instructions were given to identify experienced divers and swimmers in advance so that their support can be taken if needed. He instructed the officials that advance arrangements should be made to provide clean water to the people in areas prone to floods. He asked the officials to perform the assigned duties diligently and responsibly, so that there would be no difficulty in dealing with situations like floods. He said that during the flood season from June to September, the mobile phone of any officer should not be switched off, but should remain active 24 hours.
Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal directed the SDMs to make arrangements in advance for the drainage of urban and rural areas where there is a lot of water in the rainy season, including municipal corporations, councils and rural areas. Directed development and panchayat department to give full cooperation. He asked the officials of SDMs and Drainage Departments to select the affected villages under their respective jurisdictions and also make efforts to repair the banks of the rivers, Dhusi Bunn and also to repair the eligible places as soon as possible. . He said that flood control rooms have also been established at district level, tehsil and sub tehsil level. Komal Mittal instructed the officials of the health department and said that where doctors are on duty during possible floods, provision of medicines should also be ensured.
