Patiala, June 3 – Additional District Magistrate Madam Kanchan has issued orders to enforce Dry Day from 12:00 PM on June 3 to 12:00 PM on June 4, using the powers conferred under Section 54 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914.
The order states that during the said prohibition period, any liquor outlets (Native and English) in the polling area, hotels, shops, restaurants, clubs, beer bars, premises where the sale and consumption of liquor is legally permitted or any other public There is a complete ban on selling, using, drinking, drinking, storing and using other drugs in places etc. It has been stated in the order that as per the instructions issued by the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab, the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in the state of Punjab has been decided on 4th June 2024.
