Nawanshahr - On the eve of the birth anniversary of Bhagat Puran Singh, the pioneer of human service, the local social service organization BDC Blood Center released the magazine 'Khoondaan Seva'. It is worth mentioning that the auspicious inauguration of BDC Blood Donation Bhawan was done by Bhagat Puran Singh ji with his lotus hands on 13 April 1992.

Today's function was presided over by SK Sarin, JS Gidda, PR Kalia, Anju Sarin, Rajinder Kaur Gidda, Dr. Ajay Bagga, Dr. Asim, Manmeet Singh Manager, Yuvraj Kalia, Noble Sarin, Narinder Singh Bharta, Principal Parvinder Singh, Madam Kanchan Arora presided over the function. The magazine release ceremony was performed by President SK Sarin along with the presidium. On this occasion, apart from the members of the executive, advisory board, blood donor motivators, life members, representatives of electronic and print media were present. Bhagat Singh, Prophet of Human Service Bhai Ghani, Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, photographs of the current Legislative Assembly members of the district have been put up. Articles of technical experts Dr. DG Jolly, Dr. Ajay Bagga, Dr. Dayal Saroop and experts of Arjanveer Foundation New Delhi have been published on whole blood, platelets blood donation and stem cell donation. Information about national and international days related to blood donation movement has been provided. Legal information about adoption of children has been given in the magazine by District Child Protection Officer Madam Kanchan Arora. Similarly, inspirational photographs of famous personalities who have donated blood themselves have been shared along with press coverage samples. Special contact numbers for non-governmental, administration level and emergency are also available.

On this occasion, on the inspiration of Avtar Singh Gobindpuri, Gurdev Singh presented fifteen thousand rupees from America to Pradhanji for refreshments of blood donors. It was told that Jaswinder Singh Kandola had also received messages of sending secret donations of sixteen thousand rupees from America and twenty thousand rupees from Canada. BDC Mandana Kumari was honored for excellent work for the magazine. Gurinder Singh Toor, Dr. Vishwa Mohini, Parvesh Kumar and Dr. Dayal Saroop and Madam Surinder Kaur Toor read the congratulatory messages.
