Mahilpur 2 June - Ustad Bhai Sarabjit Singh Ji Sarab, to save children and youth from addiction and other social evils, to spread the message of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 'Gurbani Gaavu Gurmat Music Academy' was opened in the street opposite Mahindra Kotak Bank near Navan Bus Stand in Garhshanker Road, Mahilpur.

In which children will be taught Gurmat music through harmonium vocal, sarangi folk, dhad, dilruba, jodi, tabla. On the occasion of the inauguration of the academy, first of all, taking oat-aasra in the feet of Satguru ji, the verses of Sri Sukhmani Sahib ji were recited. After this, Gurbani Kirtan was performed. Ardass were offered for the success of the academy and Bhai Sarabjit Singh ji. At this time Shri Sant Karamjit Singh Ji Gurdwara Tibba Sahib Hoshiarpur President Nirmal Mandal Sant Samaj, Sant Mahavir Singh Ji General Secretary, Sant Balbir Singh Ji Gurdwara Tibba Sahib Hoshiarpur, Sant Pritam Singh Ji Badi Kala, great scholar Gyani Karanveer Singh Ji Gurdwara Dama Sahib Dohlro, Dhadi Sukhwinder Singh Ji Mandhali, Dhadi Gurjit Singh, Dhadi Jarnail Singh Joban, Manpreet Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Navraj Singh, Manraj Singh, Tirth Singh, Inderpreet Singh, Jas Karan Singh and countless others took darshan.
