Patiala, June 1 - The Deputy Commissioner went to the field to review the polling which started peacefully this morning and where he inspected the voting process and the arrangements made at the polling booths, the voters and the volunteers including the polling staff were encouraged. also did While visiting various polling booths, Returning Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pare encouraged the voters and said that everyone's contribution is important to become a part of democracy. He said that despite the hot weather, voters coming out of their homes to exercise their right to vote is a matter of pride for Patiala district. Shaukat Ahmed Pare increased the enthusiasm of the election staff by reviewing the ongoing election process at the polling booths. He said that the entire staff deployed to carry out the voting process deserves congratulations.
The District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner also visited the chabils installed at different places by various NGOs, Red Cross Society and volunteers in view of the heat. He served the Chhabeel for encouragement and also tested it himself.
