Police took out a flag march and gave the message of voting without fear

Una, May 30- In view of the Lok Sabha and two assembly by-elections to be held on June 1, the police force took out a flag march in the main market of Una on Thursday to conduct peaceful and fair elections and maintain law and order in Una district. Giving the message to the general public to vote without fear, they assured the administration of maintaining law and order completely. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal and Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh were also present during the flag march.

During this, the Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration is committed to fair and peaceful voting. He called upon the people to vote fearlessly. He said that the district administration has completed all preparations for the elections. He said that the main purpose of taking out the flag march is to give the message of a fear-free environment to the voters for casting their votes and to appeal to the common people for their cooperation in the elections and to maintain peace and law and order. The flag march is a strong warning to those who try to spoil the peaceful environment. Strict action will be taken against those who disturb the peace or spoil the atmosphere at the time of voting. He said that the voters should exercise their franchise freely and without any fear.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh appealed to the people to cooperate with the police in conducting the election process peacefully, fairly and freely. He said that during the elections, no one can force voters to vote by threatening them. The police is working with full alertness in the district. Strong arrangements have been made everywhere and suspicious people are being monitored.
