SAS Nagar, May 27 - Mohali Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi held a meeting of women of the ward at his house in favor of Congress Party candidate Vijay Inder Singla from Lok Sabha constituency Sri Anandpur Sahib. Nari Shakti present in this meeting announced her support to Congress candidate Vijay Inder Singla. On this occasion Mrs. Radhika, sister of Vijay Inder Singla, Women Congress Secretary Parpreet Kaur Brar, former Councilor Taranjit Kaur Gill were specially present.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi said that Vijay Inder Singla is a visionary leader and whoever is in the area develops the infrastructure of that area as per the needs of the people and also brings new projects.

He said that during his PWD ministership, Vijay Inder Singla straightened the road and built a wide road to solve the major problem of traffic jams at Launderan Chowk in Mohali area and solved this problem permanently. The result of this is that today the problem of traffic at Launderan lights has ended. A large number of local women including Vicky Aulakh, Jagjit Kaur Sidhu, Jitinder Kaur, Seema Singla, Kulwant Kaur were present on this occasion.
