He said that Ravi Koshal, a resident of Solan, had registered a case at police station Phase 8 Mohali regarding the theft of his motorcycle. During the investigation, the police arrested Simranjit Singh, a resident of Chandigarh, along with Ravi Koshal's stolen motorcycle.

He said that during the investigation of the case, 5 more stolen motorcycles, Activa, have also been recovered from Simranjit.

He said that the said person has also been remanded for 2 days and more important clues are likely to be found during his interrogation.
