Patiala, May 27 - Shiromani Akali Dal candidate NK Sharma from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency has said that today's Akali Dal rally has dispelled all the illusions of the opponents. Despite the intense heat, a large number of people had reached here to listen to Sukhbir Badal, president of the Akali Dal. 
In a statement issued to the media after the rally, NK Sharma said that the crowd gathered in the rally has made it clear that the people of Patiala Lok Sabha constituency are not going to be fooled by defectors this time. He said that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Patiala rally, such news went viral, in which people even accused of not getting daily wages. While mercenary people were invited in the rallies of BJP and Congress, in this rally of Akali Dal, people from all 9 assembly constituencies including Ghanoor, Patar, Samana, Shutrana, Patiala, Rajpura, Banur, Derabassi have arrived. NK Sharma claimed victory after the rally and said that he will always be indebted to the people who came from far and wide in the scorching heat.
