Mahilpur - An annual fair was organized under the leadership of Dr. Manjit Singh and Pyare Lal with the support of the residents and NRI brothers at Hazrat Puran Shah Qadri's shrine located in Janganiwal village, 12 km from here. In which many people from near and far participated 
After pleading for the protection of life and property, the flag hoisting ceremony was performed. Saints from near and far gave sermons 
Harmesh Rangila Kawal Party and Shingara Singh and Gulshan and Party presented qawalis and created a great atmosphere. Literary Baljinder Mann speaking on this special occasion said that we should connect with our roots. He further said that humanity is disappearing from man. So we need to protect human values. In addition to cold sweet water chabil, Atut Langar was also served. Many saints of the area including Satpal Loi, Amarjit Singh, Manohar Lal, Prince Gurmeet Chand, Pirthi Chand, musician Sukhdev Nadalon participated in this fair.
