Nawanshahr - Buddha Purnima Maha Utsav was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm by Sri Guru Ravidas Sabha Urban Estate Phagwara at Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan. Apart from the keynote speaker Dr. Harbans Lal Virdi, Satish Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Dr. SL Virdi presented detailed views on the teachings of Tathagata Buddha in the program. Missionary singer Dharmendra Masani introduced the audience to the mission of Tathagata Buddha and Babasaheb through missionary songs. 
Eminent missionary writer Sohan Sehjal shed light on the life mission of Tathagata Buddha through his poems. On this occasion, the main speakers, artists, collaborators and donors were honored by the assembly. President of the Sabha Jagannath Bansal thanked everyone for making the program a success. Conducting the stage, the General Secretary of the Sabha, Ghansham, spoke about the social welfare activities being carried out by the Sabha such as coaching center for getting government jobs, free dispensary, library, indoor sports and gym, sewing center and marriages and other social activities.
