Along with this, the thinking, vision, promises, planning of the candidates contesting the Lok Sabha elections were discussed about the four-way development and public welfare works of Mohali city, so that it was decided to support the eligible candidate by choosing them. During the meeting, especially the youths associated with the society participated highly.
During the meeting, the speakers said that the candidates should be selected keeping the four-way development of Mohali city in mind without being influenced by the candidates' slanderous speeches and election demonstrations. What is the vision of the candidate to remove the garbage piles at different places in the city, the beauty of the city and the infamous stain. He said that if the system is sound then the garbage heaps can be completely eliminated without any extra cost. On this occasion, a demand was also raised to make the entry points of Mohali city beautiful and full of greenery. The speakers said that the problem of stray dogs and stray animals has increased significantly in the past few years, for which no serious work has ever been done. There was also an open discussion about absorbing rainwater into the ground, eliminating the shortage of drinking water for the city dwellers, improving the sewage system, traffic jams and making parks more green. The problem of pollution in vacant plants and other places in the residential areas of the city is said to be quite serious. Apart from this, the issue of using commercial plots of Gamada, which have been lying vacant for a long time, was also discussed.
The speakers said that the narrow and old bridges at different places in the city have also become a big problem for the passers-by. These include the bridge near PCA Stadium, Balongi Bridge and the old bridge near Nature Park of Phase 9. It is very important to widen all of them. Apart from this, the issue of withdrawal of old dues of crores of rupees of the residents of Sector 76-80 was also discussed. There was also a discussion about the payment of 5 times more water bills by the residents of Sector 66 to 80 and Aerocity in the past and it was said that what the candidates have to say about the refund of the forced extra collection also needs to be clarified.
The speakers said that the thoughts and planning of the candidates should be known about all these problems and issues, how and in what time they will contribute to solve them. The speakers said that after winning the election, the aspect of easy access to the candidate should also be considered. He said that who has struggled for 80 percent reserved employment for Punjabi language and Punjabi children in government and private institutions.

He said that the candidate who has better planning, good foresight and quality future plan regarding the said problems and their solutions and has proper approach towards these basic needs of the people.
