
Despite the meeting with the Chief Minister, the problem of land owners regarding PLC in Sector 88-89 is not resolved.
SAS Nagar, May 25 - The issue of collection of Preferential Location Charges (PLC) from the land owners of villages Sohana, Lakhnore, Manak Majra and Bhagomajra who acquire land for developing Sector 88-89, with Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann Due to the lack of resolution despite the meeting, the angry landlords are preparing for a struggle against the Aam Aadmi Party government.
SAS Nagar, May 25 - The issue of collection of Preferential Location Charges (PLC) from the land owners of villages Sohana, Lakhnore, Manak Majra and Bhagomajra who acquire land for developing Sector 88-89, with Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann Due to the lack of resolution despite the meeting, the angry landlords are preparing for a struggle against the Aam Aadmi Party government.
During the meeting held at Sector 88 by the land owners of different villages regarding the preparation of the struggle, they said that due to the rigid attitude of the administrative and Gamada officials of Mohali, this issue is not being resolved. And they are going to choose the path of long struggle against Punjab government to expose the negligence of Mohali administration and GAMADA officials.
Giving information about the meeting, the landlords Hardeep Singh Uppal, Khushal Singh Nambardar, Davinder Singh Gill, Bhag Singh, Ajaj Singh, Daljit Singh, Gurbaj Singh, Paramjit Singh, Satwinder Singh, Ran Singh, Darshan Singh, Satpal Sharma, Jasveer Chand etc. That the matter of PLC was brought to the notice of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann who arrived at Gurdwara Amb Sahib located in Phase 8 of Mohali on 16 March 2024. The Chief Minister called Deputy Commissioner Mohali Ashika Jain on the spot and asked for a complete report on the matter. He said that after the meeting with the Chief Minister, he had prepared a full report on the said issue to the ADC Mohali on the request of the Deputy Commissioner Mohali, but no action was taken despite that.
He warned the Punjab government that if the problems of the owners of the said PLC are not stopped immediately, they will struggle against the government, under which a series of sit-ins will be started in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office or Gamada office in Mohali, which will be the responsibility of the government.
