Patiala, May 25 - The election campaign of Akali Dal candidate NK Sharma in Patiala Rural Assembly constituency got tremendous support when hundreds of people led by Sarpanch Ajaib Singh and former Sarpanch Jasbir Kaur in village Rohti Khas Leaving Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), constituency in-charge Jaspal Singh Bittu joined Shiromani Akali Dal in the presence of Chattha. Bittu Chattha welcomed all of them to join the Akali Dal and assured them that they would be given full respect in the party.
On this occasion, Jaspal Singh Bittu Chattha said that all Punjabis have realized that in the last seven years, the Congress and AAP governments have betrayed the Punjabis and looted the state treasury.
