SAS Nagar, May 23 - Mohali Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi has called the FIR registered against Ajit newspaper editor Barjinder Singh Hamdard as wrong and said that the Aam Aadmi Party government cannot tolerate its failures. It is not able to do it and therefore this authoritarian step has been taken to suppress its opposition voice.

Mr. Bedi said that the Aam Aadmi Party government wants to keep the people of Punjab under control and the purpose of filing a complaint against Mr. Barjinder Singh Hamdard is to scare people. So that people come under the pressure of Aam Aadmi Party. He raised questions on the timing of this FIR and said that the timing of the leafleting has been done keeping the elections in mind. So that the people can be intimidated by dominating the Punjabis, but the Punjabis have always been against this, if someone tries to make them work under pressure, the Punjabis give them a bitter response.
