Mandi Gobindgarh, May 23 - "Shining Star" program was organized by Admission Cell of Desh Bhagat University. In this, 85 students of SNAS School Mandi Gobindgarh and Green Field Sirhind who achieved merit in the 12th examination were honored. 
On behalf of Desh Bhagat University, Chief Guest Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadavarti honored the meritorious students by giving mementos and certificates.   Addressing the students, Dr. Harsh Sadavarti said that by honoring the students through such programs, they should be encouraged for better education.   He gave information about more than 200 courses running in DBU while giving career guidance. Dr Sadavarthy said that along with world-class infrastructure, DBU also offers excellent placement opportunities. He advised the students that it is important to adopt a professional approach after 12th.   Careers should be driven by brand, strategy and goals.
