Banga, May 20 - The annual meeting of Navjot Sahitya Sanstha Aur was held under the chairmanship of President Gurnek Sher. In this gathering, the poets who are members of the organization recited the works of Tanj for political reform in the environment of elections. Advocating for the welfare of the people through his poetry, he emphasized the need to reverse the 'laare lappe' politics. During the gathering, tributes were paid to the late poet Surjit Patar and literature worker Harbans Hiun. On this occasion, information was given that a 'Literary Evening' is being celebrated at 'Yakka' Kariyam on June 8 at 5 pm under the leadership of Rajni Sharma, the advisor of the organization. Apart from member poets of the organization, renowned poets from Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Chandigarh will also participate on this occasion.
On this occasion, the president of the organization Gurnek Sher and secretary Surjit Majari said that during the elections under the banner of the organization, meetings are being held with the candidates of all political parties regarding the important demands of the literature sector and the important points recorded in the manifesto.
