Una, 20 May- To protect the children from the severe heat wave in Una district, the district administration has decided to keep all primary and pre-primary schools closed on May 21 and 22. District Magistrate DC Jatin Lal has issued orders regarding this. He has asked the concerned officers and institute heads to ensure strict compliance with these orders.

Jatin Lal said that various parts of the district are affected by the heat wave. The Indian Meteorological Department has also predicted severe heat for one or two more days. Keeping these circumstances in mind, for the safety of small school children and in the larger public interest, orders have been issued to keep all government and private primary and pre-primary schools in Una district closed for two days on 21st and 22nd May.
