
College students took out a candle march giving the message of voter awareness
Patiala, May 14 - Students of Government Polytechnic College, SST/ Nagar took out candle march at SST Nagar, Patiala for voter awareness as per the direction of Additional Deputy Commissioner cum ARO-110 Navreet Kaur Sekhon. This candle march was organized by Sweep Nodal Officer, Patiala rural Narinder Singh Dhindsa.

This candle march was organized by Sweep Nodal Officer, Patiala rural Narinder Singh Dhindsa.
As per the data of previous elections at SST Nagar, 3 booths were in the list of sensitive booths. Therefore, through this candle march at SST Nagar Market, Gobind Nagar and SST Nagar Colony, the message was given to participate in the elections while maintaining peace.
On this occasion, Government Polytechnic College Principal Ravinder Singh Hundal, Hostel Warden Amanpreet Kaur, Harjit Singh, Karamjit Kaur, Amritpal Kaur and Gagandeep Singh also participated in this march. Sweep Nodal Officer Narinder Singh Dhindsa explained the message of Chief Electoral Officer Punjab and District Electoral Officer, Patiala "This time, 70 par" and asked students to cast their vote, their family's vote and each family in the street on the day of polling. Asked to encourage them to cast their vote.
On this occasion, the head girl of the hostel, Jaspreet Kaur, said that this candle march will not only motivate them to participate in these elections but will also motivate them to vote in every next election.
