Nawanshahr - Shri Navjotpal Singh Randhawa Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman District Employment and Business Bureau, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar under the able leadership and Shri Rajeev Verma Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) District Bureau of Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar is helping the youth of the area in employment, self-employment as well as career planning and providing a proper guidance for future employment.
Giving information in this regard, the District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Sanjiv Kumar said that from time to time, the bureau conducts special camps to provide employment and career related information to students studying in educational institutions. About 37 students of SBS Skill Center visited the bureau today. The district employment officer welcomed the students on coming to the bureau and informed them about the employment and self-employment related areas available after the skill development course. Jasveer Singh Career Counselor gave detailed information to the students about the activities of the Bureau and told them about the career options related to the subject.
Mrs. Hina Bhatia, Young Professional informed the students about the importance of National Career Portal and the services available on the portal. Mr. Raj Kumar, Skill Development Mission visited the branches of the Bureau to the students and gave information about the work of the branches.
