Appeal to observe 1st June as Family Social Duty Day

Patiala, May 9 - District Sweep Team Patiala organized a special voter awareness camp for women voters of Government ITI Girls Rajpura and ITI Girls Patiala. Nodal Officer Dr. SS Rekhi appealed to the student voters including the female students going to vote for the first time to celebrate June 1 as Family Social Duty Day.

Patiala, May 9 - District Sweep Team Patiala organized a special voter awareness camp for women voters of Government ITI Girls Rajpura and ITI Girls Patiala. Nodal Officer Dr. SS Rekhi appealed to the student voters including the female students going to vote for the first time to celebrate June 1 as Family Social Duty Day.
On this day all the eligible members of the family will vote for the Lok Sabha elections and those who are below 18 years of age will encourage their family and friends to vote. Students were encouraged to go door-to-door campaigning for voting in their locality. On this occasion, voter's oath was administered to all present.
   Information about ECI Apps and Vote from Home-12th form was also given by the sweep team and students were urged to spread this information around them. ITI Principal Manmohan Singh also motivated the students to participate in the maximum voting campaign of District Election Officer Patiala. Assistant District Nodal Officer Mohit Kaushal, Madam Dimple, Sarabjit Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, Dimple and Sarabjit Kaur were also present on this occasion.
