A hydraulic ambulance arrived at Gamada, an elderly woman unable to walk
SAS Nagar, May 6 - Punjab government claims to provide additional facilities to senior citizens and disabled people. But the stress of senior citizens in government offices can be estimated with this That a senior citizen lady (who was also unable to walk) was brought in an ambulance to have her photographs taken as per the conditions of GAMADA, to obtain NOC for transfer of her property in the name of her children. And after his wheelchair was lowered by a hydraulic machine, Gamada's condition was fulfilled by photographing him.

Mr. Shalinder Anand, former president of Mohali Property Consultants Association, said that the above woman has had to struggle to transfer her property along with her children. He said that despite being unable to walk, he had to first book an ambulance for the elderly woman to fulfill the condition of coming to the Gamada office to take a photo and according to that, an appointment was obtained from Gamada.
He said that there are instructions from the government to the Tehsildars in Punjab's tehsils that many facilities are provided by going to the house and the tehsildar himself goes to the homes of the elderly and verifies the documents and the pictures are also taken by going to the homes but the main thing is The laws of GAMADA chaired by the minister are different due to which senior citizens or persons with disabilities are facing difficulties.
He said that in this matter, he had written a letter to the top officials of Gamada, including the Chief Minister, a few days ago, but Gamada did not take any action in this regard. They demanded that the government should amend the laws for senior citizens and the physically challenged (as has been done at the tehsil level) and provide facilities to senior citizens, the elderly and the physically challenged at their homes.
