During this rehearsal, detailed information about BU, CU and VV PET machines was given to the nearly 10,000 election staff to be deployed for voting at 1786 booths in the district. And the duties of the presiding officers including the filling of the proforma used during the elections and the duties of the polling officers were made known to the election staff.

Giving information about this, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pare said that the election staff was given information about election materials, BU, CU and VVPAT machines through power point slides by the master trainers. is Apart from this, the election staff was also made aware of the responsibilities and rights. The District Election Officer said that the Election Commission of India has provided information to the staff to cast 100 percent votes of the polling staff to meet the target. Shaukat Ahmed Pare instructed the election staff to ensure that these elections are conducted with full fairness, transparency and integrity and strictly follow the instructions and rules of the Election Commission of India.
The District Election Officer said that the second rehearsal of the election staff will be held on May 19 and the polling staff will be given information about the election materials, EVM and VV PET machines by the master trainers through power point slides and answers to the questions asked by the staff will also be given.
Additional District Election Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Madam Kanchan and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Dr. Harjinder Singh Bedi inspected the rehearsal held at different places on the spot. On this occasion, he said that today ARO Navreet Kaur Sekhon at Thapar College, ARO Kannu Garg at Punjabi University Patiala, ARO Babandeep Singh Walia at Government Polytechnic College, ARO Jasleen Kaur Bhullar at Patel College Rajpura, ARO Arvind Kumar at Government Bikram College. , ARO Tarsem Chand at Government Ripudaman College Nabha, ARO Richa Goyal at Public College Samana and ARO Ravinder Singh at Kirti College Pataran have conducted the first rehearsal of the selection staff successfully.
