Patiala, May 6 - Dr. Sanjay Goyal has taken over the post of Civil Surgeon of District Patiala. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Sanjay Goyal is a general surgeon who was posted as Senior Medical Officer at Sub Division Hospital Nabha He was promoted as Deputy Director cum Civil Surgeon from Senior Medical Officer by Health and Family Welfare Department of Punjab Government and was appointed as Civil Surgeon of Patiala. And today he has taken up his post as a civil surgeon.
He was warmly welcomed and felicitated by the Health Program Officers and staff at the office on assumption of office. After assuming the post, Dr. Sanjay Goyal while talking to this journalist said that he will fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him by the Punjab Government Health Department with full sincerity and diligence. And will be committed to deliver the standard health facilities provided by the health department to all the citizens of the district. He said that after studying the health facilities being provided in the district in a couple of days, work should be started as soon as possible in the high-risk areas. People should be made more aware about the diseases and the lack of equipment in the health centers should be removed. Apart from this, he said that the problems of people coming for work at the Civil Surgeon's office will be solved on priority basis. Whatever goals are given to them regarding health programs by the Punjab Government Health Department from time to time, they will be completed in due time.
