Phagwara - Due to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's road show at Phagwara for the Lok Sabha election, where the houses of struggling leaders of various employees' organizations were raided and detained in an unreasonable and illegal manner, fine action was taken. Around 50 mid-day workers reached there under the leadership of DMF leader Gurmukh Lokpremi, mid-day meal union leaders Rajwinder Kaur, Anita Devi, Paramjit Kaur and Balwinder Kaur to remind the Chief Minister of the promises and draw the attention of the Chief Minister to their legitimate demands. The meal workers were locked up for hours at Thana Sadar Phagwara.
Gurmukh Lokpremi and other leaders who gave the above information said that the police kept the poor women workers in the police station under the influence of the government of the fake revolutionary party, which has turned into a khasmakhas from aam. Which is a disgusting and shameful act of the government. Giving information to the press, the leaders said that AAP has proved to be much more dictatorial than all the previous governments. Even the worst governments of the past did not take away their right to peaceful speech from the people. But the Chief Minister has not thought it right to accept or consider the demands of the common people, and even to this day, he has never even listened to the demands of the common people.
Because of Bhagwant Mann's Phagwara road show, where people's leaders were detained like prisoners, who always satirized the security arrangements of the leaders. Common people also faced great hardship there. Leaders of Democratic Employees Federation and DTF, Kulwinder Kaur, Rajinder Pal Kaur, Jitinder Kumar, Satnam Parmar and Harjinder Niana etc. have strongly condemned this Hitlerian undemocratic behavior of the government.
