SAS Nagar, April 29 - The 403rd Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Maharaj was celebrated with great devotion at the historic Gurudwara Singh Shaheedan in nearby village Sohana. In the joy of Prakash Parv, religious programs were organized throughout the day after offering bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib Ji in the morning.

In the joy of Prakash Parv, religious programs were organized throughout the day after offering bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib Ji in the morning.
During the program, Bhai Gurdev Singh's International Dhadi Jatha briefed the devotees in detail about the life of India's blessed Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the incredible sacrifice he made to save the victims. Bhai Lakhwinder Singh's ragi group from Amritsar tried to connect the devotees with the Guru through their soulful kirtan. Shiromani Pracharak Bhai Jarnail Singh Ludhiana informed the Sangat about the 59 words and 57 verses in 15 ragas of Dhur Ki Bani (which adorn Sri Guru Granth Sahib) as recited by Guru Sahib.
Apart from this, Dharam Singh Patiala Wale, Bhai Harbhajan Singh, Bhai Gurvinder Singh, Bhai Sarbjot Singh, Bhai Dilbar Singh, Bhai Baldev Singh, Bibi Kulwinder Kaur, Bhai Manpreet Singh, Shere Punjab Kavishari Jatha, Baba Deep Singh Kavishari Jatha, Sukhmani Seva Gurdwara Singh. Apart from the women contingents of martyrs, Bhai Inderjit Singh, Bhai Jaswant Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh and Bhai Jaswinder Singh sang Hari Jas through Katha, Kirtan, Kavishari and Gurmati thoughts. All the groups were honored with Siropa. Guru's langar was well served.
The spokesperson of the Managing Committee of Gurdwara Sahib said that keeping in mind the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the women of Sukhmani Seva Society will do 2 recitations of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji daily for 40 days from May 1.
