Nawanshahr - 24 new Dell computers and two printers were presented to Government Senior Secondary School Sahlon (S.B. S. Nagar) by "Sahlon Sewa Society" which is worth about 12 lakhs.
The president of this society formed in Sahlon village with the support of NRI colleagues, Mr. Gurpreet Singh Babba and general secretary Mr. Harmesh Bharti said that because there is no computer in working condition for the students to get computer education in the school, It was decided to take this computer. A program has been drawn up by the society to fulfill every demand of the school in order to conduct the education of the students in a smooth manner. Which will be completed with the support of NRI heroes. On this occasion, Mrs. Alka Rani, the principal of the school thanked the society members and NRI colleagues and requested for cooperation from the front and also assured them to use these computers in a proper manner. A printer was also presented to the primary school on this occasion.
On this occasion, NRI Veer Dhanwinder Singh USA, Mangal Singh Canada, Gurpreet Singh Babba, Harmesh Bharti, Parminder Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Harjit Singh, Sat Pal Sahlon, Charan Singh, Jaswant Singh, Jarnail Singh and Unkar Singh etc. members of the society and all the teachers of the school were also present.
