The District Election Officer said that the employees posted in print, electronic and social media have been specially instructed to keep a daily watch on the news published in all the newspapers, if the MCMC committee constituted has any If the news appears to be paid news, then the concerned Assistant Returning Officers will bring it to the attention of the concerned Assistant Returning Officers while taking daily action in this regard. He said that the newspapers and advertisements appearing in the electronic media are also being monitored. Employees posted in social media have also been instructed to keep an eye on social media posts and other activities. He said that it is necessary to get the approval of the content from the MCMC committee before doing any kind of advertisement by the candidates. Apart from this, whatever expenses are incurred by the candidate for publicity or promotion on social media. This information must also be given to the MC MC Committee. The NCMC Committee writes to the concerned Assistant Returning Officers to include the campaign expenditure in the candidate's expenditure register.
