During the meeting, Dr. Shivraj Singh Bal instructed the school members present that every bus carrying children under them to/from home should have a valid fitness certificate, speed governor should be in working condition as per government instructions, bus driver should have a valid license and Children should not be seated in buses beyond their capacity. Regarding the compliance of these instructions, the officials/employees of all the schools present gave a certificate in written form that they are following the instructions issued by the government regarding the school buses. Apart from this, instructions were issued to the present police officers/employees to check the school buses every week. He appealed to the parents from the administration that if their children are going by private vehicle, then they should also ensure compliance with these instructions.
Apart from this, if their children come on their own vehicles, they should have a valid license and they have to ensure compliance with the government instructions.
