The first match was between the teams of Northern Railway and South Western Railway. Playing first, Northern Railway scored 257 runs for 9 wickets in 50 overs, in which the highest runs were scored by Mohammad Saif and Chanderpal with 54 off 64 balls and 54 off 64 balls respectively. South Western Railway's Sanjay Kumar took three wickets. In reply, South Western Railway chased down the target and scored 258 for two in 39 overs to win the match by 8 wickets. Top scorers for South Western Railway were Chetan and Rahul Singh who scored 151 off 119 balls and 65 off 82 balls respectively.
In the second match played between Metro Railway and Eastern Railway, Metro Railway set a target of 243 runs for nine wickets in 50 overs. Metro Railway's Arif Ansari and Arindam scored 63 off 89 balls and 54 off 54 balls respectively. Eastern Railway's Mikhil Singh took 3 wickets. Chasing the target, Eastern Railway scored 245 runs for 3 wickets in 42.4 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. Deepanshu and Ravi Singh of Eastern Railway scored 98 off 123 balls and 82 off 64 balls respectively.
