Hoshiarpur - Baisakhi program was celebrated with great fanfare at St. Kabir Public High School today. On this occasion, school chairman Dr Ashish Sarin, Principal Rakesh Bhasin and all the teachers were present. First of all, Dr. Ashish Sareen told the children about Baisakhi. After that the program was started.
The children participated in this. Chhote-Chhote Nanne Munya presented the Punjabi culture in a very good way. The boys wore white kurta-pajamas and the girls wore Punjabi suits and the children performed dances like Bhangra, Giddha etc. The girls danced on "Teri kanak di Rakhi Mundya". The children performed "Ai Baisakhi O Jatta Ai Baisakhi".
Apart from this, the students of Nursery, UKG, LKG, Nursery presented modelling. At the end of the program, the children were given prizes and farewelled with sweets.
